How to avoid bill shocks?

Now anyone who is living in Australia is more than aware of the cost of electricity, rates, insurances and telecommunications. You all know how depressing it is to see your latest bill and have to start thinking about what tins of soup you will need to dig out of the cupboard to get over this latest financial car crash. The worst time for these bills are around the school holidays and new year. It messes with your lifestyle and can be really frustrating. It doesn't have to be that way. You can eliminate the annoyance and rude shock of these bills easily by paying a small amount in advance. You only need to spend an hour or so setting up auto deductions for the rates, electricity and any other regular occurring bill and your problem is solved. What comes out is then yours and you can move on with your life. This is so easy to do, if you haven't done this already, you should! This is simple budgeting 101, this accounts for a sizable portion of your regular monthly expenditure. You have the added bonus of establishing a regular repayment schedule which is always looked upon favorably by lenders. It shows that you are responsible and can be trusted to repay the loan you may be after.
